The Avengers; USB sticks
The Philadelphia 76ers coach, Doug Collins, is almost always featured in Associated Press photos talking to his players. The Sixers defeated the Lakers 95-90 at home last night, and they’re 13-3 at home on the year and 18-7 overall (5-4 on the road). That’s pretty damn good, and certainly over-achieving for a group without the talent a lot of team’s possess. They owe it primarily to their coach, and the player’s for buying into his shared team concept with 6 players averaging in double-figures this year.
Doug Collins is showing why a lot of people think he was the best analyst in the business when he worked NBA and Olympic broadcasts for NBC.
Personally, his old, blonde-flecked tips still give me nightmares, but no one is perfect.
